Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I pay?

When you are done your shopping and have filled your virtual shopping cart, click on the "Checkout" button and proceed to follow the payment instructions.  We accept payment by all major credit cards and also email money transfer (EMT) for your convenience. Should you wish to pay by EMT simply place your order, select EMT as the payment option, checkout, and follow up by sending an EMT to sales@northernrepublicmagazine.com for the total about of your order.  


2. How fast will my order ship and when will it arrive?

Orders are shipped as they are received, and are typically processed within 48 hours.  However, during rush periods, orders may require more time and will be processed as quickly as possible.  Email notification will be sent when your package has entered the mail stream.  All parcels are sent via Canada Post by expedited mail or Fed Ex Ground, depending on your location.  Delivery typically takes between 1 and 10 days.  For more precise estimates of delivery date, please consult the Canada Post or Fed Ex websites with your tracking #.

3. Can I pick up my order?

Northern Republic Magazine Inc. is 100% a web based store.  We do not have a store front for pickup and do not allow tours of our warehousing facility.  However, free shipping is available for orders over $150.

4. Do you sell anything other than magazines, magazine parts, clips and ammunition belts?

At this time Northern Republic Magazine Inc. does sell some firearms and outdoor accessories. We do not sell fire arms or ammunition.  We are not licensed for those kinds of sales and we simply don't have firearms or ammunition to sell.

5. Do you sell magazines that are not blocked to 5 or 10 rounds?

 Northern Republic Magazine is not a licensed prohibited firearms or prohibited device dealer.  As a result, all stock carried conforms to civilian magazine restriction requirements.

6. My product(s) showed up broken, I'd like a refund!

We offer a guarantee that all products shipped to customers are free of defects.  If your package shows up defective, send us an email at sales@northernrepublicmagazine.com and we'll gladly replace your item within 30 days of purchase.  We do not extend this policy to products that have been misused or intentionally damaged.

7. Do you sell to people outside of Canada?

Yes and no.  At this point in time we are a by and for Canadians company.  If you live in the United States of America, no problem.  Arms agreements between our countries are such that no permits are required to ship to you.

If you live outside Canada or the US, the paperwork involved in exporting items is typically not worth the additional cost for the purchaser to go through with the transaction.  However, if we have something that you absolutely can't find anywhere else, we are willing to work with you.

8. Do you sell to police and military?

Yes, we can sell in bulk to police and military, but the magazines will be pinned or internally blocked to 5 rounds for rifles and 10 rounds for pistols.  At this time we are unable to carry prohibited devices.

9. Do you offer a police or military discount?

Because we only sell civilian compliant magazines, clips and belts, we do not offer police or military specific discounts.

10.  Where can I find your Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions?

11. I want to buy something on "back order", what does this mean?

At Northern Republic Magazine Inc. we only open items up for back order if we can guarantee their arrival.  This means that if you place a back order with us, you are purchasing something that is already within our company's supply chain and is currently making its way to our facility.  Typically we indicate when back orders are expected to arrive on a monthly basis, however we can't guarantee exact dates within that month for arrival.  It is safest to assume that you will be getting receiving your order toward the end of that month. 

12. If I cancel my order are there any fees?

Customers may opt to cancel any order, such as a retail purchases, back orders, pre-orders, etc.  Should a customer wish to cancel any order, a small fee may be incurred by the customer to cover the transaction merchant fee associated with their order.
